Real Label is the most adaptable text display .Net component on the market.
You can use it instead of the normal Visual Studio Label control and it will also
display vertical text, or in fact text at any angle! Why not make your Windows Forms
applications look even more professional by using Real label to create unique shaded
backgrounds for your forms?

*This is all done with Real Label controls
Here's a summary of the most useful features:
|
|
 |
Display Text at an Angle
Any angle between 0 and 360 degrees. You are no longer confined to the horizontal! |
|
|
 |
Create Groovy Backgrounds
You have a choice of using a background image (tiled or not), a solid color, transparent
(true transparency, not like other .Net controls), or linear gradient shading with
as many colors as you like, including alpha channel transparency on individual colors. |
|
|
 |
Shading for Text
That's right: just like you create shading for the background, you can also do the
same for your text. Naturally including full alpha channel transparency support
for individual colors. |
|
|
 |
The Border
As well as the standard borders, you can choose to have a Rounded border, Inset
3D and Outset 3D. For the Rounded border type, you can adjust the Dash Style (dotted,
dashed, solid etc), color, width and even corner size including which corners are
rounded and which are square. Of course, if you don't want a border, you can choose
None. |
|
|
 |
Text Alignment
Typical of the standard Visual Studio Label control, you choose any alignment for
your text you desire. No matter what angle you use for your text. |
|
|
 |
Icon Image
You can even display an image on your Real Label control which is rendered to the
left of the text to better demonstrate to your users what your label is trying to
say. |

ASP.Net As Well?
You've got a great looking font and you want to use it on your website. But of course
you can't risk your users not having that font installed on their system. Or what
if you want to allow users to customise their experience with nice shading or a
font of their choice? Well, the answer is simple: Real Label can generate this kind
of thing on the fly and it will output an Image object which you can then save or
stream to your users browser, in any format and quality you want. Really useful. |

|
 |
Render Quality
Adjusting the text quality and/or general render quality can improve performance
and make for stunning graphics. Your choice. |
All this crammed into a library of under 40 kilobytes! That's the Run time control
only, the Design time control is a bit bigger but you don't distribute that. You
get the most functionality for the smallest memory footprint possible. All our components
and software are finely tuned to be as efficient as possible, giving your CPU and
RAM a break.
We know this list of features is impressive, but we didn't just set out to impress
your users. We know only too well the efforts programmers like you go through to
put out such great software. With that in mind, we've made it easier than ever to
use Real Label from within your Visual Studio IDE.
You can easily edit your background and text colors using the nifty Color Blender
control:

And don't worry about setting the angles of the text or your background/text shading
angle:

And think about it, how tricky would it be to choose which corners in the border
should be Rounded and which should be square? We've made it easy for you:

So you see, it's quite possible (and simple) to get up and running with Real Label
with absolutely no code and no time wasted.
